How to set up your profile, list availability, and work with Students

Getting Started as a Pro

  1. Register: Create an account and select "Pro" as your role
  2. Create Your Profile: Set up your professional profile with all required information
  3. Add Availability: Set your available time slots for lessons
  4. Start Accepting Bookings: Students can now find and book lessons with you

Setting Up Your Profile

A complete profile includes:

  • Display Name: Your professional name
  • Bio: Tell students about yourself and your teaching philosophy
  • Teaching Style: Describe your approach to instruction
  • Career Highlights: Share your achievements and experience
  • Certifications: List your professional certifications
  • Lesson Pricing: Set your lesson duration and rate
  • Location: Your teaching location information
  • Photos & Videos: Add professional media to showcase your work

Managing Availability

In the Availability section, you can:

  • Create individual time slots or bulk add slots
  • Choose slot durations (15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes)
  • View and manage your calendar
  • Delete open slots you no longer want to offer

Handling Bookings

When Students book lessons:

  • You'll receive a notification
  • Review the booking details in your dashboard
  • Confirm or manage the booking as needed
  • Communicate with the Student about meeting details

Responding to Inquiries

Students may send you questions before booking. Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries to build trust and increase bookings.

Cancellation Policies

Set your cancellation policy in your profile settings. This determines how far in advance Students must cancel to avoid penalties. Common options include 24 hours, 48 hours, or 72 hours.

Payments

Remember that Golf Pro-Me does not process payments. You're responsible for:

  • Communicating payment terms to Students
  • Collecting payments directly
  • Handling any refund requests

  • Respond to inquiries quickly
  • Maintain consistent availability
  • Provide excellent service to earn positive ratings
